Meet Tammy
My photography journey started when I was just a kid. My father handed me a Hasselblad and told me to “figure it out” so I could take pictures of the family and our dairy farm. It was only after I graduated from Texas Christian University that I decided to make photography a passion AND a profession.
I started my photography career by working with another local photographer, before opening Locations Photography myself. Since then, Locations Photography has spent the last 20 years creating long lasting memories for families, seniors, businesses, and schools all over the DFW metroplex.
How have I kept Improving?
I am always learning new things when it comes to photography. Throughout my career, I have joined multiple professional photographer organizations, even becoming president of the Texas Professional Photographers Association in the past. In those organization I earned accreditations such as the Photographic Craftsman degree, as well as the title of Master of Photography. Even today I am always looking up articles and videos to try something new or be more efficient.
Meet Wes
I have been a creative individual all my life, but my photography journey began in my high school Yearbook Club. This is where I learned how easy it was to capture a story in a single image. From then on I became a hobbyist photographer, taking my camera around town and on vacations.
I continued honing my skills throughout my time in college, even attending elective classes on digital media production. These classes really lit a fire in me and showed me how much happier I was when I was doing creative work. Once I graduated from Texas A&M (Whoop!) I decided to look for opportunities to learn from someone who has experience running a creative business, where I met Tammy. Now I have been working with her for over a year and have grown my skills FAR beyond what I could have learned myself.
